On father's day, Portugal's golden son took his team into the quater finals of the Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine. As he basked in the Euphoria of Portugals's recent achievement with a performance that certainly answered the critics following a dismal display against the Danes, Cristiano ROnaldo Dos Santos Aveiro would have wished his father was in the VIP box to cheer him on as he celebrated a brace against a highly talented Dutch side. 2 goals and 2 hits to the upright summed up quite a remarkable evening for the portuguese Captain as his side ran out 2-1 winners against the Orange Boyz. Ronnie who has fond memories of the man who first introduced him to the beautiful game wishes that He could still be able to run back into his arms and receive a "well-done pat on the head". Well, for what he misses, he can make up for in his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.

This ceremony of qualification into the next round is indeed a better birthday Present to Young Ronnie who was born on this day 17th June, two years ago to an unknown mother in the US.
Ronnie Jr is under the guidance and tutelage of his Paternal grandmother and Aunties Catia and Elma in Funchal, Madeira.
