Why and Who causes Bad things to Happen.

Light shineth forth and  "the" Darkness Comprehendeth it not..

1 John 1:5 'Now the message that we have heard from His son and announce is this: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him"
6. If then we say we have fellowship with Him, yet at the same time live in darkness, we are lying both in our words and in our actions"
7. But if we live in the light----just as He is in the light---then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his son, purifies us from every sin.

God is light and in him, there is no darkness. It takes a child to have a revelation of the father. Jesus was the first to harvest this full revelation of his father, and he handed it down to the Apostles. John reiterates this by saying "Now this is the message that we have heard from His son(Jesus)". Who better to bring a message of the nature of the Father if not the Son. Verily, this is the truest revelation one can have of God...The revelation from His son. Jesus had earlier spoken about the very nature of the Father when Philip asked him 'Show us the Father? John 14:8-11.

8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”


9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.
Jesus was not the reflection of the Father, He was a carrier of the Father. The Father lived in him and He lived in the Father. Thus, they were never separated. He begged of his disciples to use the least example, "the evidence of His works" in order to believe He was in the Father, and the Father was in him. And how do we further confirm the Light nature of God the Father, knowing that He is in the son and anyone who knows the son, knows the Father. Lets look at Acts 10 vs 38 "And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him". Jesus went about doing good. Notice, He only went about doing 'Good". So when next you see a bad situation, who do you blame? Obviously not the Man who went about doing good nor his Father, because as clearly written          

                                                    Jesus= The Father=Light +Good.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17) Just incase a contrary situation creeps in which is not consistent with the above equation, just Remember, Neither the Son nor the Father is responsible. The Son and the Father go about doing good and rescuing all those who have been held bondage by the Oppressor (Which is the devil). God is the father of light(s), Jesus is the light of the World, and so are you. Now, since God is the father of Light(s), and Jesus as his son is the 'light of the world", that means there are many more "light-hood" to be inherited, to really confirm God's title as the Father of LIGHTS. That light-hood is left for you and I. So we are brother to the Light of the World and Son(s) of the Father of Lights. We are Light!!

An elementary truth, but certainly a revelation mankind has to embrace in totality.
Quit asking, "God why me?" Everything God does is light-filled.. If darkness comes, just Shine.....
